“Those who sing pray twice,” is a well known saying among those in liturgical ministry.  At Saint Gregory the Great, we have the benefit of many skilled musicians and many eager voices ready to be raised in musical prayer.

The Saint Gregory the Great Chorale

The Chorale is composed of men and women of the parish.  This choir alternates at the 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Sunday or 4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass and specializes in mixed-part musical repertoire while fulfilling  its mission to encourage the active participation of the singing assembly.  Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. September through May in the Church Choir Loft. Contact Tom Tiehel for more information.

They follow the same schedule as the Saint Gregory the Great Chorale and is open to all Chorale Singers and non-singers as a music educational tool to improve their musical reading skills and development of handbell technique and musicality. Schola Cantorum
